Dr. Meghan Riegel

​Hi! I'm Dr. Meghan (Schiffer) Riegel, the optometrist and owner of Good Looks Optometry.  I was born and raised in Floral Park and am a graduate of Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, N.Y.  I earned my bachelor of science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA.  I achieved my doctor of optometry degree from SUNY State College of Optometry in NYC. 
My optometric experience spans a multitude of clinical settings including private optometry and ophthalmology offices.

I pride myself on practicing full scope optometry which includes prescribing glasses and contacts, treating ocular diseases, and providing pre and post-operative CoManagement care for patients undergoing LASIK surgery.

​I am passionate about providing myopia (near-sightedness) control options for young patients. I offer proactive options for kids experiencing rapid myopia progression. Additionally, my unique background in fitting specialty contact lenses, including RGPs and Sclerals, allows me to treat patients with corneal disorders such as Keratoconus. 

​I am an active member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association, and am Vice President for the Nassau County Optometric Association. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, and running. I have traveled to 29 of the 50 states and completed the Philadelphia half marathon in November 2012.

Hi! I'm Dr. Cheong, the optometrist at Good Looks Optometry. I earned my bachelor degree in Molecular Biology and received my doctorate degree in Boston at the New England College of Optometry.
I practice full scope optometry and enjoy seeing patients of all ages. I have a passion 
for treating ocular disease, increasing the quality of patient's lives with low vision care, and optimizing pediatric care with myopia control.  I also currently serve on the editorial board for Optometry Times, the leading source of research and content for optometrists. 
 
Outside of the office, I love to stay active by playing tennis, pickleball, bouldering, and riding on my Peloton. I am always looking for the best places to eat so if you have any suggestions, please be sure to let me know during our visit! I look forward to seeing you soon!

Hi!  My name is Nancy and I am a New York State licensed Optician with over 20 years of experience in the boutique optical industry. I love helping patients feel confident and excited in their eyewear. Helping you choose the best eyewear optically and fashionably is what makes my work a pleasure.
 I am a native New Yorker and when I am not working I enjoy the outdoors and love the winter, spending time with my family, human nieces and niece puppies. I look forward to seeing you soon at Good Looks Optometry!

Hi everyone!  My name is Lindsay and I am very excited to be a part of the Good Looks Optometry team.  Born in Floral Park, I spent a brief time in New Hampshire before returning to my home town where I have lived ever since!  I graduated from St. John's University with a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and am actively working on achieving my Master's degree in Healthcare Systems.
Since beginning at Good Looks Optometry, I have advanced my career from Receptionist to Office Manager. I am also a Certified Optometric Biller & Coder and am happy to answer any questions you may have when using your vision or medical plan at the office. I'm also eager to answer any contact lens related questions, and will help you utilize rebates and vision plans benefits so that ordering contacts is as easy and affordable as possible!

​Outside of work I love to be active.  Whether it's going on a hike or spending the day at the beach, I always try and find a way to enjoy the outdoors.
