Dr. Meghan Riegel
Optometrist & Owner Dr. Meghan (Schiffer) Riegel is the optometrist and owner of Good Looks Optometry. She was born and raised in Floral Park and is a graduate of Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, N.Y. She earned her bachelor of science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA. She achieved her doctor of optometry degree from SUNY State College of Optometry in NYC. |
Her optometric experience spans a multitude of clinical settings including private optometry and ophthalmology offices.
Dr. Riegel prides herself on practicing full scope optometry which includes prescribing glasses and contacts, treating ocular diseases, and providing pre and post-operative CoManagement care for patients undergoing LASIK surgery.
She is passionate about providing myopia (near-sightedness) control options for young patients and offers proactive options for kids experiencing rapid myopia progression. Additionally, her unique background in fitting specialty contact lenses, including RGPs and Sclerals, allows her to treat patients with corneal disorders such as Keratoconus.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the New York State Optometric Association and the Nassau County Optometric Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She has traveled to 29 of the 50 states and has completed the Philadelphia half marathon.

Dr. Euin Cheong
Optometrist Dr. Euin Cheong earned her bachelor degree in Molecular Biology and received her doctorate degree in Boston at the New England College of Optometry. She practices full scope optometry and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Cheong has a passion for treating ocular disease, increasing the quality of patient's lives with low vision care, and optimizing pediatric care with myopia control. She also currently serves on the editorial board for Optometry Times, the leading source of research and content for optometrists. |
Outside of the office, she loves to stay active by playing tennis, pickleball, bouldering, and riding on her Peloton. She is always looking for the best places to eat so if you have any suggestions, please be sure to let her know during the visit!

Dr. Christine Tam
Optometrist Returning to Good Looks on a temporary basis is Dr. Christine Tam. Dr. Tam earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry where she graduated with honors as a member of the Dean's list. She brings with her years of expertise in primary eye care, contact lenses, dry eyes and ocular disease. She specializes in fitting a variety of contact lenses and has a particular interest in glaucoma and dry eye management. |
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, crafting and gardening. She is excited to re-connect with the incredible patients at Good Looks Optometry once again!

Licensed Optician Nancy is a New York State licensed Optician who comes to Good Looks Optometry with over 20 years of experience in the boutique optical industry. She loves helping patients feel confident and excited in their eyewear. She excels in helping you choose the best eyewear optically and fashionably. |
She is a native New Yorker who enjoys the outdoors and loves the winter. She enjoys spending time with her family, human nieces and niece puppies.
